We have a basic server (windows 2016 server). They have it setup as an active directory. We have a folder on the DC named Scans. We map this folder as S: drive. We have just 2 folders;
Plotter
Printer
Some users (such as myself) can see the contents of these folders, others can't seem to see any files in the folders. Where should I start trouble shooting, and what should I be looking at 1st.
I'm not an IT person so to speak. I do the simple things, create users, set security permissions on folders like HR, ADMIN, etc. but this isn't my everyday job, and we're looking for help to get us moving in the right direction to find out what is causing this.
