Hi,
We have a Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard. We have installed Symantec Endpoint Protection. After installing, we were not able to RDP to the machine. IT was not able to provide us the SEP password to change the Firewall setting. Therefore, we uninstalled SEP again. After uninstalling, we are not able to access any network shares anymore.
When attempting to access a share, e.g. 10.xxx.191.198, we imminently get a response:
Windows cannot access \\10.xxx.191.198
Error code: 0x80004005
When diagnosing, it says not sufficient permission. However, I know that I have permission because it works from another machine.
Interestingly, if I try to share a random folder, it says "Your folder can't be shared.'
Thank you very much for you help.

- Pinging works.
- Windows firewall is off.
- No antivirus is installed. (is there a way we can double check that?)
- net use * /d, no success
Interestingly, if I try to share a random folder, it says "Your folder can't be shared.'
Thank you very much for you help.
