InfoPath 2013 on Server 2016 RDS

Has anyone installed InfoPath 2013 on a 2016 RDS and successfully had it save to sharepoint? We have had it running previously without issue on Window Server 2012 R2, but but on the 2016 server when trying to save to sharepoint, we are getting "InfoPath cannot save the following for: https://.... Network problems are preventing this file from being saved." In 2012 R2, this was resolved by enabling the desktop experience feature but that does not seem to be an option in server 2016.
