I am managing 2 servers with Windows Server 2012 Standard installed in some location. Every time I attempt to select Settings>>Power>>Restart, the system sits for about 20-30 seconds, then goes to the lock screen. It happens on remote sessions (LogMeIn) and on-site when I'm physically at the server. Also, if I run Windows Update and it requests a restart, I click the Restart button on the Windows Update screen, and the same thing happens - The system sits for about 20-30 seconds, then goes to the lock screen. I tried "shutdown -r -f" command in cmd and powershell, ctrl+alt+deleate and then click shut down, and Alt+F4 combination - it does the same. Sometimes it does reboot after cmd command - but not each time.
Any ideas what can be causing that problem?
