DirectAccess firewall ports

Hi All,

Just need clarification on the below statement regarding firewall ports for DirectAccess

'IP-HTTPS-Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) destination port 443, and TCP source port 443 outbound. '

We are using 2 NIC's behind an edge firewall, one DMZ and one LAN. There is no firewall between the DMZ and LAN, does the external NIC of the DirectAccess server(s) required TCP port 443 outbound to the internet?
