Hello there,
I want to give a service account permission to write application event logs. I can't find any specific tutorial for windows server 2012 R2 so I was trying to follow this guide for win server 2003. I edited "%WinDir%\Inf\Sceregvl.inf" and run regsvr32 scecli.dll as they mentioned. Then I opened the local policy editor but I can't find Event log: Application log SDDL entry under WindowsSetting/Security Settings/LocalPolicies/SecurityOptions. Are there any suggestions?
