Could you provide some information about your system? Memory, Processor and
most important of your Video card?

In order to see your slide show with high-quality visuals (including themes
and transitions), you need to have a subscore of 3.0 for the Graphics
category in the Windows Experience Index. Some themes also require your
computer’s graphics card to have a feature called Vertex Shader 2.0. To take
advantage of all slide show capabilities, you might need to upgrade to a
more powerful graphics card.

I have also been receiving this error for about 3 weeks.
it worked for 2 months before that
I tried updating my Drivers
they were a version from 6/14/2007
To try and solve the problem I completely
uninstalled the drivers rebooted then
Installed the Update from oct 11 2007.

The screen saver is still broken.



I have a score of Graphics Score of 4.8
Toshiba P200 4GB Memory, ATI Mobility 2600 HD.

My problem seems to be I had an empty folder... Go Figure !

I had this problem and another, after failing to find a solution to this I
moved on to the next and it fixed both my problems. Problem I fixed was
Server Execution Faild, with a red "X" over the icon. This is what I
did....Simply run a command prompt as an administrator (right-click on it and
click "Open as Administrator") then enter the following command line:

net localgroup "Administrators" "NT Authority\Local Service" /add
