I have a windows vista and the upgrade disk for windows 7ultimate, along with a new 1 tb hard drive to replace the original from vista and use the old windows vista as a back up.
What I am needing to know is should I do a clean windows vista install all over because this computer and account has been off for a very long time.
Also my password for any of the accounts on this computer are turned off and locked by Microsoft for not being in use over 190 days per say.
Below this is the window vista information I'm not too sure it is enough to put windows 10 home on the old windows vista system.
1.the processor has 360 Intel 3.46 GHZ
2. 120 GB hard drive SATA II
3. 512 MB DDR2 memory.
If some one can tell me how so in doing this for windows 10 home to best go about it, only wanting to do clean windows install because I cannot sign into my administrative account to anything at all nor have I ever replaced a hard drive before.
will appreciate any help
Thank you
