Hello,
I am having an issue with Server 2016 where I can not add clients to the domain (contoso.com) due to what I believe is a DNS issue. I have messed around with the DNS MMC. I am not sure what to do at this point. When on a client PC I try to add the client to the domain, I will get an error saying "An Active Directory Domain Controller could not be contacted". I have the DNS set on the client PC to the Domain Controller's IP address. I am not sure if it is a problem with zoning or something else. I have tried multiple times to reconfigure a zone, but to no avail. Just to add some info, I will be having some of the settings I use below. I will also be adding images of my DNS server to let you have more info! Thanks!!
Domain Controller: contoso.com (192.168.1.227)
Client: 192.168.1.226 (DNS: 192.168.1.227)
