Hi guys, I'm racking my brain here
We have a server with Server 2008 Standard. An old machine, but that all computers (XP, Win 7 and Win 8) can log on the network and access the shares, including running programs inside the server.
Recently acquired a new server with Windows Server 2012 Foundation. I set all features, AD users, but on client workstations some machines when I click on the address to map the network drive "\\ SERVER2012" the message "Logon failure: the user has not been granted the requested logon type at this computer."
I also tried to access the server's IP (which is static). Same mistake. As for joining the domain, the machines access via workgroup ... they are not as domain.
The funny thing is that on some machines appears the option to enter the user name and password and access usually ... Other appear this error and not allow you to place username or password.
Of 5 machines with Windows 7: 3 access normally, but two appear this error.
Of 2 machines with Windows XP, no accesses the server 2012.
Of 2 machines with Windows 8.1 (identical models): 1 accesses and other not.
It's not lack of permission to users, because the machines that can access the server, multiple users can log in with their passwords. It seems the problem is the machines that can not access the server.
I wonder what might have happened and what I do to fix it. All users have full permission, already checked and everything is normal ...
Sorry for the english possible errors. I only speak portuguese.
Thank you friends!
