Computer: Windows XP SP3
When I allow windows to define an IP and DNS adresses, the comuter is not linked to the router.
When i manage myself the adresses ( the same as used with an other laptop) the router recognize the computer but when i start the internet navigator i have the error "12159 ( TCPIP protocol bad configured".
I have testes with some tools ( ipconfig, netsh,) but without result
with ipconfig:all the result is: 0.0.0.0 for all the adresses and DHCP not activated.
No help provided in Microsoft site for the error 12159.
what can do to test or repair the connection
