Windows Server 2016 STD VM activation issue

Hello. I tried to activate my hyper-v instance of Windows Server 2016 through slmgr /ipk, however I minimized my remote desktop by accident, and I used the command on the host Windows Server 2016 Standard with OEM license instead. The license replaced (obviously it doesn't activate), and now I'm stuck with host server with no license. Will I be able to activate it once more using my original OEM license key? I'm asking because I can't test that right now and I really need to know.
