RDCms database "Recovery Pending" after system restart or Windows Internal Database restart

Hello,

I was having the same issue as other users, where RDS stopped working after some recent updates. The service that cannot start is Remote Desktop Manager.

To fix it, I have to "Take Offline" the RDCms database via SQL Studio, and the bring it back online. Then I can start the Remote Desktop Manager service, and RDS starts working again.

Here's a link to thread that explains what's happening with me, but following the steps mentioned does not resolve the issue for me: RDS Broker database (RDCms) status "Recovery Pending" after reboots

For what it's worth, this is a standalone server setup to run RDS for about 20 users. Just mentioning that, as I know it's not good practice to have AD running on the RDS server, but it is in this case. That said, this server has been running, and with auto updates on, for about four years with no problems until this past week.

Thanks in advance.
