Hello,
I want to have an "easy" automatic updates on one Windows 2016 Server but I didn't found what's wrong to set it correctly... Checked again and again, read many forums, asked help before, but no way to have it working
The goal is to have : only search and automatic updates, everyday at 3 am (working hours : 06h00 - 23h00) . This server has no WSUS service running. Last thing : it's a french release, don't be affraid
To have this I set a local GPO on the server with :
Enabled "AutomaticUpdates", set with the "4" option and these parameters :
Install during automatic maintenance : enabled
0 - Everyday
3h00 hour
But... research for updates are made during the day and no updates are applied during the night.
So, I took a look to the registry and all seems to be good :
In AU :
AUoptions is 4
AutomaticMaintenanceEnabled is enabled
NoAutoUpdate is disabled
ScheduledInstallDay is 0
ScheduledInstallTIme is 3
In WindowsUpdate root, all is good too :
So, I'm very stuck with this problem and ask you're help.
Thanks.
Regards,
