Unable to join a Windows Server 2016 Domain Controller

I

InTechSys

Hi,

I setup Windows Server 2016 as a DC and DHCP Server. The client computer is Windows 10 Pro.

Using Windows Defender Firewall with Advanced Security, I enabled File and Printer Sharing Echo Request – ICMPv4 for Inbound and Outbound in both computers (Windows Server 2016 and Windows 10 Pro).

I turned on Network Discovery in both computers (Windows Server 2016 and Windows 10 Pro).

I checked time zone in both computers (Windows Server 2016 and Windows 10 Pro).

Now both computers are able to ping each other successfully.

When I run ipconfig in Windows 10 Pro, it is showing one of IP address mentioned in the DHCP range and the name of domain controller. It means it is taking one of IP address mentioned in the DHCP server.

However, Windows 10 Pro is unable to join Windows Server 2016 Domain Controller.

Pls let me know, what I need to check more.
