Hi All,
I've been working to fix an issue on Windows Server 2016 where it is not possible to use the search bar in a Save As... window.
It doesn't matter which application is being used and I can replicate the issue on multiple servers that run Windows Server 2016.
The server I have been working on most is running version 1607, OS Build 14393.2724.
Things I have tried:
What happens is when I'm in a Save As window of an application, the search bar is there and I can type in a search string, but when I press enter, nothing happens while when I do it in explorer it starts to search for the string and show results within seconds.
Looking forward to some results from other people to confirm if it is an issue across the board or if this is only occurring in our environment.

Things I have tried:
- Run Windows Update to update to the latest version, the problem was first reported in December and since then I have updated the server and the latest CU that has been applied is: 2019-01 Cumulative Update for Windows Server 2016 for x64-based Systems (KB4480961)
- Enable Windows Search service including reboot
- Tested the functionality on other Windows 2016 servers in our environment and so far all of the 4 that I have tested have this issue
- Tested the functionality on Windows Server 2012R2 servers and Windows 10 workstations, the problem does not exist there and the search function works in the Save As... window
- Applications that have been used to confirm the issue: Foxit PhantomPDF, Adobe Reader DC, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
