I have added a server 2016 to an existing SBS 2011 domain. (as a note i have 2 other sites that dont have this issue so know it works)
When i added the 2016 server i made it a domain controller and upgraded sysvol replication to DFSR and this worked very briefly.
over he last few weeks i have been getting the error below. have seen advice to delete dfsr DB in sys volume in relation to issues not in connection to sysvol. Would this be the correct course of action in this instance.
Thanks in advance
The DFS Replication service stopped replication on the replicated folder at local path C:\Windows\SYSVOL_DFSR\domain.
Additional Information:
Error: 9003 (The replication group is invalid)
Additional context of the error:
Replicated Folder Name: SYSVOL Share
Replicated Folder ID: BEEE2011-4A26-4892-8B43-EAEE50297738
