Hello,
We are running a Windows 2012R2 server. Workstations in question are running Windows 10 x64 with Office 2013.
Under the folder share, the user has the following permissions:
User should be allowed access to edit a file within the folder. User has the following permissions for the file:
The user is able to open the file in question (in Excel). However when she tries to save it, she receives the following error:
Microsoft Excel
Access denied. Contact your administrator.
I was able to copy the file to the local machine and save changes with no issues. The same issue is present on multiple workstations.
User is accessing the file via a mapped network drive.
Any suggestions would be welcome.

- Traverse folder / execute file
- Read attributes
- Read extend attributes
- Read permissions
User should be allowed access to edit a file within the folder. User has the following permissions for the file:
- Traverse folder /execute file
- List folder / read data
- Read attributes
- Read extended attributes
- Create files / write data
- Create folders / append data
- Write attributes
- Write extended attributes
- Delete
- Read permissions
