Hi.
Consider the following environment:
Windows 2012 R2 server currently hosting KMS and activating Windows 7, Windows 10, Server 2012(R2), Server 2016, Office 2016, Office 2013.
Windows Server 2019 deployed. Attempts to get Server 2019 to activate with the KMS server has failed entirely. Every attempt just seems to break KMS for all things. Reverting to the 2012 R2 KMS Host key seems to restore activation for the products mentioned above.
The KMS server is fully patched.
Can I just follow the guide linked below to enable AD activation on the same 2012 R2 server where KMS is currently running to activate both the older products and server 2019? If not, what is the best approach here?
