Hi,
I would like to migrate a Windows 2008 R2 domain controller, let's call it Dom3, to Windows 2016.
I migrated a DC from Windows 2012 R2 (called Dom2) to Windows 2016 successufly on the same AD domain.
There are 2 big differences among these DCs: the Dom3 DC is the only DC in its AD site and it has a NPS configuration (radius).
The NPS configuration is exported from Dom1 domain controller (Windows 2008 R2) and imported on Dom3 every night.
The idea is to demote Dom3, create a new server called Dom3 with the same hostname e IP of the previous and promote to DC and install NPS components.
Do you think that it is a viable way?
