Hello Microsoft Community,
My family member cannot log in to her Windows 8 HP PC. I talked to her on the phone and asked her if she had the operating system CD's or a USB drive. She said she did not. She told me she is locked out at the login screen and when she presses "reset password", it asks her for a USB drive and she does not have one.
I have told her she will most likely have to buy a USB drive, but I would like to walk her through the steps on the phone. How exactly would this issue get fixed?
Any help will be appreciated.
