added 2nd domain controller, slight issue.

Hi, after I added a second domain controller to my current active
directory setup I notice that every time I reboot a machine it takes
something like 20-45 minutes for it to get past the "applying computer
settings step" I notice if i simply shut down the second domain controller
it gets past this step immediately.

Does anyone know what in the second domain controller is causing this issue?

I have DNS installed on both domain controllers..

Is your DHCP server giving out both DNS server IPs to your clients?
Is this new server a GC? (might as well...)
Event log errors anywhere?

Well, the server that I rebooted has a static IP, it doesnt use DHCP and on
the 2nd domain controller i dont have DHCP installed, Im not sure if the new
domain controller is a global catalog, I believe it is because I was able to
run the exchange performance test against it.

Sorry, I made the assumption that you were referring to a workstations'
bootup time being v slow since you added the second DC. If you're talking
about the first DC .....

Event log errors?
