Was I Hacked?

someone called saying he was from Microsoft. I could hardly understand his accent but figured he was trying to help me. Before I let him take over my computer I got out. He kept calling me back and wouldn't take no for an answer. Finally I quit answering the phone. Is it possible he can access my computer?
