how to stop touchpad from EVERYTHING other than tapping

How can I disable my touchpad for everything except tapping? I don't want my screen to move any which way - PERIOD. I know it can be done, but I don't remember where to go to do it. It was a HUGE list of several columns and the touchpad was listed and I could delete all activities I wanted to - one by one. PLEASE HELP ME I'M GOING CRAZY!!
