I have a 1st gen Lenovo Yoga model 2191 running Windows 8 64-bit.
As I encountered problems updating, I performed a full system reinstall (not just a "Refresh").
I left Windows 8 install every possible update for about 5 hours.
There's no more updates available in System->Windows Update or in the Store.
There's no critical error in the Event Viewer in the last 24h.
Still:
- 8.1 does not appear in the Store
- When I click "Add features to Windows 8" in System->Windows Update and enter the Windows key that came preinstalled with my computer, it says "It won't work".
- When I try to manually install the KB2919355 update files (in the correct order), it says It's not applicable to this computer.
In other words, a freshly installed Windows 8, with every possible update, and the key that came with it does not allow me to update to 8.1.
Any hint?
Thanks
