I’m having issues patching all my servers running on Hyper-V, there are several virtual servers running server 2012 R2 running on a cluster of 2 physical hosts. The physicals have been patched and didn’t have an issue with them.
Specs;
Server 2012 R2 standard
Version – 6.3.9600 build 9600
20GB space free on HD
I've tried the following so far;
Applying the patch via updates,
Applying the update manually after download the package – also tried to disconnect network connection and then apply patch
Reset WU – rename folders etc
But each time the install fails.
Looking at the logs it looks like there are 3 packages in this update – the 1st looks to install but then the others fail. I've uploaded WU log and CBS in links below these were created after a WU reset.
Anyone able to help as I feel like I'm banging my head against a wall?
