.NET FRAMEWORK 1.1 SERVICE PACK DOWNLOAD & INSTALL

I'M TRYING TO THE DOWNLOAD THE .NET FRAMEWORK SERVICE PACK REQUIRED FOR A
SOFTWARE UPGRADE. I GET A THANK YOU FOR DOWNLOADING, BUT NO RESULTING DIALOG
BOX FROM WHICH TO SAVE & INSTALL. NOR IS THE DOWNLOAD FOUND IN THE USUAL
DOWNLOAD FOLDER. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

1. In order to help, we need to know what browser
software you used (e.g. Internet Explorer, Mozilla.)
Each has its own way of configuring the default folder
to save downloads.
2. To be sure the D/L did not take place, search
the whole hard drive for its unique filename.
3. Do not post in ALL CAPITALS.
