Malicious malware removal tool

Until recently when I have downloaded the tool nd run from desktop it always
started almlost immediately

However the last couple months it takes it sometime 30 seconds to start
after clicking the desktop icon.
I have removed reinstalled several times ..to no avail.

I have copyied the MRT from Windows System 32 to the desktop..it starts
almost immediately when MRT icon clicked

Appreciate any info as to why the long delay with one but not the other

I did call and spent about twenty minutes with two different techs??????
Neither was overlly interested in my probem
