No Key Management Service (KMS) could be contacted

Dear Sir / Madam,

The KMS host installed an Office 2013 KMS key by using Microsoft Office 2013 Volume License Pack, the installation successfully. I checked the firewall for advanced setting, the "Key Management Service" enabled for the domain.

The KMS client has joined the domain, when tried to activate the Office 2013, I entered the command from the following path:

c:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office15>cscript ospp.vbs /act

It showed the following error message:

To view the activation event history run: cscript ospp.vbs /dhistorykms

Then, I entered the following command to check the application event log,

c:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office15>cscript ospp.vbs /dhistorykms

It showed the following error message:

ERROR DESCRIPTION: The Software Licensing Service determined that the specified Key Management Service (KMS) cannot be used.


The OS of the KMS host: Windows Server 2012 Standard

The information of the KMS client: Windows 7 Professional, Office Professional Plus 2013 (SP1)
