I've got an older Dell PC with Windows XP Home Edition SP3 that I keep for some older programs that are not compatible with newer Windows versions. I had it joined to the homegroup via WiFi to my other Windows 8.1 and Windows 7 Pro Edition PCs and I could share folders, printers, etc. But suddenly the XP no longer is recognized by these PCs and I get an error message when attempting to open a shared folder. The WiFi still works and I can access the Internet with my browser. Going through the Network Setup wizard seems to work and I can enter the homegroup (Called workgroup in XP) but still the error persists. The XP system seems to provide no way to enter the 10 character homegroup password. It's been so long since I first set it up I can't remember what else I may had to do to get it to work.
