Default Gateway IP different from IP address of PC

My default gateway (on WinXP Pro SP2) is 10.10.12.1 and the IP address of my
PC is 10.10.13.181. I think this is why I have trouble logging in to the
network every morning. Is it the default gateway IP that needs to be
changed? PC's computer name was changed about a month ago. Thanks.

Absolutely correct Alice. Two different subnets. Your gateway should be
pointing to your DC.

Should probably point to the ip address of the router on your subnet or
vlan.

What is your subnet mask? Its possible that those are both on the same
network if the subnet mask defines it as such.
