I am receiving error code 80073701 when I try to install the Active Directory Domain Services role on my server running Server 2016. I have installed other roles without issue, even after I have received this code. It seems the only role I'm having issue with is the ADDS role.
I have removed the language packs that came pre-installed on this machine, and that did not fix the error. I am receiving updates through Windows normally, and they are installing without issue. I have run the DSIM and SFC tools to fix any errors, and they come back clean.
Is there anything else I can do to resolve this problem, or is my only option doing a clean install? I really don't want to go that route since this is a production server running our application and database.
