DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION BCC: 0x00000133 hal.dll

Ever since installing new motherboard, ram, and cpu I've been getting DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION errors after a while of use. Doing resource heavy task like gaming or large file compression causes the system to blue screen and I can't understand why. I've tried updating all my drivers, scanning my disk, updating my "Standard Sata AHCI Controller" and have done 5 resets and the issue still persists. I can't tell if I've recieved bad hardware or there is a software issue I'm unaware of. Here are my hardware changes:

Windows 10


Motherboard: ASUS P8B75-M/CSM ---> Gigabyte B360M DS3H

CPU: i5-2500k --> i7-8700

RAM: 8GB DDR3 --> 16GB DDR4

GPU: Nvidia GTX 1080
