Hi,
Where can I find information when the Error event id 40 for the SMBWitnessClient is logged to the event log. We have this event randomly on our 2012 R2 server's log and when this error appears the server seems to lose its connection to the SMB fileshare that is located on a two node Windows fileserver 2012 R2 cluster. The share are configured with continuous availability and SMB3.0. I cannot find anywhere even a good description what makes the SMBWitnessClient to log event id 40. Some pointers whre to find more information about the event ID 40 and it's possible cause are appreciated.
