"Wi-Fi" doesn't have a valid IP configuration

Hi all.

I'm having problems connecting to my wi-fi. Everything worked fine before I installed Windows updates KB4493464 and KB4493478 (Windows 10 Version 1803)

I'm getting a '"Wi-Fi" doesn't have a valid IP configuration' error.

I've tried a different things already:

1) uninstall/re-install adapter drivers

2) reset router

3) release/renew IP address

I was not able to do this step. I got this error: No operation can be performed on Local Area Connection* 1 while it has its media disconnected. No operation can be performed on Local Area Connection* 11 while it has its media disconnected. An error occurred while releasing interface Wi-Fi: An address has not been associated with the network endpoint

4) I went to services.msc and set Wired AutoConfig and WLAN AutoConfig to run automatically at startup

5) went to Wi-Fi properties, Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/APv4) and set everything manually. Then I ran the diagnostic tool which said that the default gateway wasn't working.

I'm not sure what to do next. Some help would be appreciated! Thanks
