Upgrading to Windows 7

Hello! I am trying to transfer Windows 7 Home Premium from my laptop to my Windows Vista PC (Yes, I know it's old). I have already deactivated Windows on the laptop and have the product key, but do not know how to activate it on my PC. Any help would be great. Thanks!
