I'm trying to set up a VPN network on server 2012 R2. So I can get remote access to some company resources to employees who don't work in the office.
-What I've done / works
Setup a VPN for users to dial in (PPTP), I can log in to the network and ping computers on the network
I can access my personal computer's resources via the vpn / login
VPN IP is assigned dynamically by the server acting as the router
I can ping my server
When plugged into the network locally I can access the server via the network
Forward / opened port for the VPN
I have disabled fire wall / network security software to see if either were blocking traffic
-What I can't do that I need to
I cannot access my servers resources over the vpn; I can ping it
