Hi churin,

I do not know about the WM v.5.1, but these two below are fully
compatible with x32 or x64 Vista.

There is a new Windows Live Messenger v.8.1.0178 available. This one
has more compatibility with all the Emoticons and Winks add on programs.

'Windows Live' (http://get.live.com/)

or

Windows Live Messenger Beta v.8.5.1238.0601

'Windows Live' (http://get.live.com/betas/messenger_betas)

BONUS:

Here is a program called "A-Patch" that will allow you to customize
these two. EX: Remove the ads.

'A-Patch for Windows Live Messenger & MSN Messenger'

Hope this helps,
Shawn

Live Messenger is the one for Vista. It works just fine as does Windows Live
Mail that is an update of the Outlook Express application. I am using it now
to read newsgroups.
