Cannot connect to synology NAS through Windows 10 VPN connection with error message on client computer

I am trying to get a VPN connection through my snyology NAS running their VPN Server application. My Windows 10 computer fails during connection with the following error message: L2TP connection attempt failed because the security layer encountered processing error during initial negotiation with the remote computer

My NAS VPN Server settings are as follows

Dynamic IP Address: 10.2.10.0

Maximum connection number: 10

Maximum number of connections with same account: 10

Authentication: MS-CHAP V2

MTU: 1400

Run in kernal mode is checked.

Enable SHA-2-256 compatible mode (96 bit) is also checked

My question is what changes do I need to make to allow Windows 10 to connect to my Synology VPN Server?
