I am about to configure the KMS. The KMS server is located within the DMZ area and is registered as a member of AD. It will be required to activate Windows 10 clients from this KMS.
At this time, clients within the separate Active Directory Domain also want to be authenticated by the newly configured KMS server.
Question 1. Which ports should be open for a KMS server within the DMZ to communicate with a Microsoft authentication server? Is it 1688 port?
Question 2. Is the port with clients within the isolated network seeking certification from the KMS server in the DMZ also 1688?
Question 3. Can AD-joined computers within a isolated network also be certified by the newly configured KMS in such an environment?
