How to uninstall Vista Ultimate upgraded

M

mr.koolfool

I bought the upgrade key and successfully installed it on my laptop. My
laptop and the Vista version are not OEM. Vista doesnt operate at its best on
my laptop (the configuration is TOO LOW you know...) so I intend to use XP
instead and save the key for another more capable one. I dont know if I can
turn back to XP again and use the key to activate Vista on another laptop or
PC?

Thanks for your help! I'm waiting for a "YES" answer.

Just remove Vista from the laptop. When you install Vista on a different
computer, you may have to call in to activate the system. If you wait a few
months you may not even have to do that.

No, it doesn't work for me! My Vista doesn't have the Windows.OLD folder!!!
What can I do now?

By the way, I bought the upgrade key online. Then it should be a retail,
shouldn't it?

It might be an idea for you to repost this , as this date is moving away from
new posts.
Also, put in what you upgraded from. We assumed from XP, but if you just
bought a key, you must have a Vista disk.
And if you did not upgrade from XP, you won't have windows.old folder.
And if you bought a new laptop with vista Basic on it, you could contact
manufacturer for advice > XP.
More info required from you.
