Windows could not start the windows event log service on local Computer. Error 13: The data is invalid

I have a patched, up to date server. I'm unable to view the event viewer. I'm trying to install a small agent on it and it is crashing. I can't start the Windows Event log service to look at any logs. appears to be functional.



I get this error when I try to start the windows event log service.
