Hide app list in Start Menu

I know that this is a possibility in Windows 10, however I'd like to be able to also hide the app list in the Start Menu on Server 2016. How would I go about doing this? The server is currently running SharePoint 2016, however, if I am unable to change this, I will be reverting back to Windows 10 v 1511 running SharePoint 2016 (even if it doesn't function as intended). I thought Microsoft would've learnt from their mistakes with the Windows 8 'Start Menu', but apparently I was wrong to think that.
