Hi,
My Computer shuts down while gaming. looking at the event log I always see the following chain of events:
I have tried everything: updated drivers, upgraded CPU / GPU cooling, reinstalled software... upgraded the OS!
I see some unlucky people have the exact same problem:
Windows Kernel event ID 41 error whilst gaming
events 6s have the following description:
and the final one is:
File System Filter 'npsvctrig' (10.0, 2094-02-20T13:14:30.000000000Z) has successfully loaded and registered with Filter Manager.
event 98s:
Volume C: (\Device\HarddiskVolume2) is healthy. No action is needed.
and last event before the crash is:
Volume \\?\Volume{5c23db8f-ec53-11e4-b8fa-806e6f6e6963} (\Device\HarddiskVolume1) is healthy. No action is needed.
this volume is the system reserved volume. I temporarily assigned a letter to it, chkdsked it and cleaned it. no go.
some people claim they fixed this by removing bloatware.
can someone please help?
