windows xp to windows 7

Hello ..

Ive got a pc.. Intel core 2 duo cpu t7250 @ 200GHz 778 mhz 1.99 gb of ram

there is windows xp pro 2002 sp 3 install on it...

Can maybe someone tell me if it would works ok if erase xp pro and i install windows 7..??
