Internet Explorer question.

Whenever I do a search (google, altavista, yahoo, no matter) every link I
hit gives me a new Internet Explorer, to a point that after a while there
are 6 or 8 of them to shut down. With my old XP each link would replace the
previous link on the same IE. Any help appreciated.

Tony - Right click on toolbar and turn off "Cascade Windows" if it's on. Look
into the other settings - "Show Windows Side by Side" and "Show Windows
Stacked".
I had your prob and one of these was to blame, but not sure which. Wayne

Open IE7 > Tools > Internet Options > Tabs > Settings>
You can sort out how you want new windows to open in IE7 there.

Thanks Mick - Your suggestion is better than mine for usefulness. I've been
looking for that tip. Must have been what fixed my problem, but I forgot.

No worries. Vista is hiding all the goodies.

Unlike in XP where everything was in the open.
You need a miner's licence to work in Vista it is buried so deeply!
