Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework, Version 2.0 (KB92836

Hi,
I am continually having a problem downloading the above security Update I am
just about pullng my hair out lol. Please can someone advise me of the steps
to carry out as it has become major problem for me. Usually I can find my
way around my computer and the internet but this time the problem has me
stumped am nothing I am doing seems to be solving the issue. This is the
first time I have had to request assistance ever grrr lol.

which version are you running and did you check that for the
installation ? The .Net Framework is in three versions - the outdated
1.1 and then 2.0 and the newer 3.0 (actual point versions may be
different, you get the idea 1, 2 , 3 something).... I believe the
original was downloaded at Microsoft.com

Updates are automatically delivered through Windows Updates once you
have the .Net Framework installed on your PC. Are you on Version 1.1
still ? Where are you getting this update at ?
