trying to install windows xp on a disk

I'm trying to install windows xp from a disk (I'm on Windows 10). When I get to here:

• To set up Windows XP now, press ENTER
• To repair a Windows XP installation using Recovery Console, press R
• To quit Setup without installing Windows XP, press F3

I can't do anything. It doesn't do anything when I press enter. Or do anything when I press any button.
