System Volume Information - Access Denied

Folks,

The System Reserved Partition has filled up on my server, I need to get access to the "system volume information" folder but I'm getting access denied, when I try to apply permissions to grant myself access I again get access denied due to not enough space.

Has anyone experienced an issue like this and know and ways to fix it?
