USB Headset isn't recognised as a Sound Device

HI guys.

I'm not sure if this is the problem, but recently I installed a windows update and after that my USB headset just stopped working, It is indeed plugged in when I check devices and printers or device manager it says my USB headset is connected with the name " HyperX Virtual Surround sound" however when I go into my sound devices it doesn't show up even when I click 'show hidden devices' its not referring my device as a sound device no matter what I do, I've gone into Realtek manager and disabled front ports like others told me but it still does not work. However when I plug my headset into other devices, like my phone or laptop it works perfectly fine, mic and headset it's just my computer after I installed the update. even though other USB devices work such as my mouse and keyboard.
